What is the treatment?

Fractora is a radiofrequency microneedling treatment that improves the texture and tone of the skin and tightens the skin. Fractora treatment uses a fractionated combination of radiofrequency and microneedling. The treatment uses small microneedles to coat the skin and fractionated radiofrequency to regenerate deeper tissue. Radiofrequency energy heats the deep layers of the skin in a controlled manner by stimulating collagen production. The treatment creates a new and smoother surface for the skin, which restores a youthful, smooth and glowing look to the skin. The ideal treatment to heal acne scars, smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, and firm the skin.

At Klinik Linnea, Fractora treatment is performed by experienced nurses and doctors.

Healing time

After treatment with Fractora, you should always be prepared for skin redness, slight swelling, tingling and heat. These recovery-related reactions usually increase towards the evening after the day of treatment. These reactions are normal reactions that are related to the thermal energy given in the treatment, when the treatment aims to bring about new formation of collagen in the skin. In the first days after the treatment, the skin may feel slightly rough, after which the skin feels soft again. The symptoms will ease in the first few days.

Most of the clients can return to their normal daily routines immediately after the treatment.

Aftercare instructions

Good hygiene is especially important to consider after the treatment. Avoid skin contact on the first day. Direct sunlight should be avoided for at least one month after the treatment. In order to preserve the treatment result, protecting the skin from the sun is also very important. Klinik Linnea recommends using sunscreen all year round. In addition to reducing the risk of skin cancer in the future, sunscreens also reduce wrinkles and slow down the aging process. We recommend avoiding sweaty exercise and saunas for the first 2-3 days. Make-up can be applied to the treatment area 1-2 days after the treatment. We recommend avoiding retinol products and strong skin care products (AHA, BHA) for the first 5 days after the treatment.
