Skin care with
Hollywood Spectra laser

Coming soon!

Are you looking for an effective device treatment for your skin that can meet a range of your skin's needs?

The Lutronic Hollywood Spectra laser effectively treats texture changes such as scars or fine lines, pigmentary changes such as melasma or liver spots, soothes active acne, and brightens skin holistically with the signature Hollywood Laser Peel, which has become a global favourite.

Hollywood Spectra is a non-ablative laser, which means it does not damage the top surface of the skin, but uses an ultra-slow pulse to precisely target the pigment, scar tissue or other desired treatment indication in the skin. This allows the treatment to be as effective as possible, while leaving the surrounding tissue undamaged and the recovery time from treatments short.

Treatment of hyperpigmentation

Hollywood Spectra is the first FDA-approved device in the US for the treatment of melasma.

Hyperpigmentation is a darker discoloration of the skin that contrasts with normal skin colour. This pigmentation is caused by melanin in the skin, which, when overproduced or locally accumulated, causes the skin to develop a darker pigment locally. Overproduction of melanocytes is activated by factors such as exposure to UV radiation, inflammation or skin damage (e.g. acne), certain drugs and diseases, and endocrine disruption.

With laser treatments, we can effectively reduce unwanted pigmentation and restore youthful radiance and smoothness to the skin. Hollywood Spectra's laser technology delivers short bursts of intense energy to the skin. This breaks down the hyperpigmentation in the skin into tiny particles that are transported and worn away by the metabolism.

With the Hollywood Spectra laser we can treat

  • Melasma

  • Freckles, freckles

  • Sun damage

  • PIH and PIE, post-inflammatory pigmentation and erythema

  • Changes in skin tone due to ageing changes

We generally recommend 3-6 treatments to remove pigmentary changes. A more detailed treatment plan and price estimate will be made at a separate consultation or at the first visit.

Treatment of scars

Scars are one of the most common problems affecting skin texture. Scar formation is part of the normal skin healing process but are often a nasty aesthetic nuisance later on. It is possible to remove them, but the process often requires effective treatments, time and patience. Scars may have formed on the skin as a result of trauma such as illness, accident, stretching of the skin (pregnancy, weight gain) or surgery. The collagen structure of the dermis or dermis is disturbed. Scar formation is influenced by skin phototype, skin condition, genetic factors, age, scar location, size and depth.

With the Hollywood Spectra laser, we can remove and fade disturbing scars from the face and the rest of the body. Advanced laser technology makes scar treatments precise and safe to perform, and do not require long recovery times. Fractional laser rearranges collagen formation in the dermis, resulting in a structural change in the skin. The laser's power stimulates collagen synthesis, which helps to make the skin fuller, firmer and smoother.

With the Hollywood Spectra laser we can treat

  • Acne scars

  • Surgical scars

  • Stretch and pregnancy scars

  • Accidental scars

  • Tattoo scar, under the ink

We recommend 3-6 treatments for scars, depending on the situation. We always make an individual treatment plan during a separate consultation or at the first treatment session.

Hollywood Laser Peel

The signature Hollywood Laser Peel is the perfect "red carpet" treatment for the world's most popular celebrity superstars. The Lutronic Hollywood Spectra is the

the official laser device of the treatment - hence the name Spectra Peel!

  • Hollywood Laser Peel

  • Effectively resurfaces the skin

  • Reduces the appearance of pores

  • Purifies the skin

  • Improves skin tone

  • Stimulates collagen, firms

  • Smoothes skin texture

  • Eliminates fine lines and wrinkles

The treatment involves applying a carbon mask to the skin, which is then treated with laser energy. The laser beam absorbs and vaporises the antimicrobial charcoal cream, taking away impurities and dead surface skin cells. The heat generated by the laser beam stimulates the formation of collagen and elastin in the skin. The device uses different wavelengths of the laser beam to produce different energy pulses to achieve effective results in a short recovery time. Skin tone and texture is improved, while removing the signs of ageing. The treatment is painless and safe for all skin types. You can return to your daily routine immediately after the procedure.

For best results, we recommend the Hollywood Laser Peel as a series of treatments, but it is also ideal as a stand-alone treatment, as preparation for an important day or as a maintenance treatment.

AcnePeel

Acne is a common skin condition, affecting around 80% of people in their lifetime. Acne is an inflammatory disorder of the sebaceous gland unit of the hair follicle. In most people, the symptoms are mild and transient. However, in some people acne can be very severe and leave permanent scarring on the skin. Excessive sebum production and blockage of the sebaceous glands are the most common mechanisms causing acne and impurities. The pores of the skin also enlarge as sebum packs into the pores.

With AcnePeel, the heat from the laser beam acts on the sebaceous glands to sterilise acne-causing bacteria and reduce inflammation. By treating the overproduction of sebum in a systematic way, we can normalise the function of the sebaceous gland. The laser helps to improve the texture of the skin and reduce the size of pores.

Hollywood Spectra's AcnePeel uses patented two-stage laser technology combining carbon with short laser pulses to provide a comprehensive treatment for inflammatory acne. The laser treatment can be applied to the face or body and is suitable for all skin tones.

With AcnePeel laser treatment we can

  • Treat oily skin

  • Soothe acne

  • Reduce the size of enlarged pores

  • Improve skin tone and reduce pigmentation

  • Stimulate collagen

Effective acne treatment always requires a comprehensive treatment plan by a professional. AcnePeel is best used in a series of treatments, but it is also ideal as a complementary treatment as part of a holistic approach.

Are there any restrictions on the treatment?

The treatment is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not treat if you have herpes simplex, open wound/skin lesion, skin cancer, stage 4 acne, warts, bacterial/fungal infections, solar keratosis, haemophilia or scleroderma. If you have any questions about the suitability of a treatment for you, you can contact the Klinik Linnea staff directly.

Healing time and aftercare

There is no actual recovery period. Redness after the treatment is normal and can last from 1 to 12 hours depending on the sensitivity of the skin. The skin may feel slightly tight after each treatment. You may not see the actual peeling of the skin. Light flaking is possible.

Maintenance of results

For home care, Klinik Linnea recommends a ZO Skin Health or AlumierMD skincare programme designed specifically for you to maintain results and, whatever the season, a minimum SPF30 sunscreen.
