What is the treatment?
In Mesotherapy treatment active substances are taken evenly under the skin. In Klinik Linnea, mesotherapy treatment is recommended to be done with the Mesogun device or, if you prefer, traditionally by hand as small injection points in the area to be treated. What makes mesotherapy exceptional is that the active substances are taken under the skin and not on the surface of the skin, as when using traditional cosmetics. In mesotherapy, a needle prick strengthens elastin and stimulates collagen production. The active solution used in the treatment is chosen for you according to your skin type by a nurse/cosmetologist specializing in skin care. The active solutions contain pure hyaluronic acid, minerals, vitamins, amino acids.

Mesotherapy injection treatment can be done at Klinik Linnea on the face, neck, décolleté, and hands. Good results have also been obtained with mesotherapy for the prevention of hair loss.

What kind of results can be achieved with the treatment?

Are there any restrictions associated with the treatment?
The treatment is not performed on pregnant or breastfeeding women. The treatment is not performed if you have an open wound/skin damage, skin cancer, active acne, - rosacea or - herpes, a wart in the treated area, bacterial/fungal infections, solar keratosis, hemophilia or scleroderma. Healing time
There is no actual recovery time in the treatment. However, in mesotherapy treatments, you should always be prepared for light redness of the skin. Slight swelling and bruising are possible. Klinik Linnea recommends treatment with the mesogun device, after which recovery is faster. Most of the clients can return to their normal routines immediately after the treatment.
Maintenance of results
The most optimal and long-lasting results are obtained in mesotherapy with serial treatment. The amount of serial treatment is always planned in more detail according to the needs of your skin during the consultation (3-7 times).
