What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is a BDDE-free stabilized injectable hyaluronic acid-based product that treats skin laxity. Profhilo is an internationally awarded treatment produced by the Swiss pharmaceutical company IBSA. Profhilo treatment can be done, for example, on the face and neck area to restore the skin's elasticity and smooth lines and wrinkles.

What kind of results can Profhilo achieve?
Profhilo differs from ordinary fillers in many ways with its structure, which allows it to spread over a large area, renewing the skin and increasing moisture and firmness. Healing time
Recovery from the treatment is quick, so Profhilo treatment is suitable, for example, for treatment during the lunch hour. However, with injection treatments, you should always be prepared for possible mild swelling, light redness and possible bruising.
Since a needle is used to administer the substance in the treatment, a little blood may flow from the injection site. The most common side effects are tenderness, bruising, redness or swelling at the injection site. These side effects usually range in severity from mild to moderate. If the aforementioned side effects last more than a week or you experience other side effects, contact the treating doctor or nurse.
In individual cases, induration and unevenness have appeared in the area. In rare cases, inflammatory reactions involving redness, swelling and induration of the treated area have been reported. In very rare cases, prolonged hardening, suppuration and grayish discoloration have occurred in the treated area. The aforementioned reactions may develop weeks or months after treatment and may last for several months.

Maintenance of results
The treatment can be taken as a single treatment, but the most optimal treatment result is achieved with two serial treatments, which are done one month apart. Maintenance treatment can be done approximately 4-6 months after the previous treatment.
